So You’ve Started Towards a Healthy Safety Culture – Now What?
Safety Presentation – Part I
In the preceding five segments of our Safety Culture series with SWCA, we’ve learned about how organizations evolve, what types of tactics are appropriate for our current phases of development, how to build string relationship with employees and to demonstrate our concern for their wellbeing and our commitment to making safety the foundation of our businesses.
Now what? BSI Consultant Ashlee Conner, CSP, CHST, shares her observations about companies who have successfully navigated the next stages of development, and offers suggestion about how to initiate and/or sustain your own efforts.
Return to Work – Part II
One of the most important parts in your return to work toolkit is the Job Offer. We’ve already covered light duty jobs, so this month we’ll focus on the next part – the job offer. There are specific guidelines you need to follow to make sure your job offer is valid. Learn the best way to make a formal job offer and how to deal with any challenges that may arise once the job offer is made.
Safety meetings are open to all members of the SWCA.
Please note that SWCA Safety Meeting attendance is mandatory for participation in the SWCA Retro as stated in your SWCA Retro Agreement. Without company representation penalties are assigned in the amount of 5% of your total refund, and any participating member company missing 3 of 6 meetings will not be eligible to receive the refund share.
