Senior Project Manager -- Construction
Workforce Southwest Washington (WSW) brings together business, training and education providers, government agencies and economic development partners to address the workforce needs of local businesses and industries. WSW focuses on four high-growth, high-demand industries: Manufacturing, Technology, Construction and Healthcare. The Senior Project Manager for Construction is responsible for workforce development, outreach, and strategy development and implementation with construction employers in Clark, Cowlitz, and Wahkiakum counties. The Project Manager will work with regional workforce board staff from Portland and Clackamas and construction industry partners to understand the job demand and critical skills in order to inform the public workforce system so that talent is sourced and developed thoughtfully to meet employer demand. In addition, the Project Manager is responsible to source construction talent to fill immediate job openings and to build a diverse talent pool for entry-level through skilled positions. The Project Manager is responsible for proactively communicating employer needs to the WSW program team for the purpose of industry-driven funds development and program design. This position reports to the Director of Business Services.
