Groundwater Development Project Package No. 3 – Portland, OR

Project Description:

The Project includes furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the demolition of an existing 2.2-million gallon reservoir, new 1.9-million gallon prestressed reservoir, 4.3 mgd Water Treatment Plant (WTP) which includes filter units for iron and manganese removal, an 800 hp deep well pump, an onsite sodium hypochlorite generation and metering system, a CMU block building, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing; upgrading an existing finished water pump station to 4.3 mgd capacity, including new pumps and VFDs, building upgrades, new piping, and new electrical; a 50,000-gallon welded steel backwash water storage tank; and Site work including a new emergency generator, site grading and paving, chain link fencing, approximately 1,000 linear feet of 3-inch to 12-inch ductile iron water piping, precast concrete valve vaults, stormwater management facilities and piping systems, landscaping, and electrical and fiber optic communications systems.

Project Estimate:
Owner's Engineer estimates the cost of this Project to be $13.98 million
